When there is a file included in an outbound webhook, it needs to be formatted in a way that other systems could download it.
Right now if you select the file data type to be put into a webhook, it presents as a sting value showing the file path from within Caspio. Instead, we would like to see it be a link that can we acted upon by other 3rd party systems so they could download the file.

Enable custom tab order
Currently, pressing "tab" on a form has one behavior: move one box to the right. This can make for some pretty unintuitive user interfaces - see the image for an example. If you have two address columns, there's no way to tab down the columns; the focus will bounce back and forth between them.
Please include a way to modify this, with a way to change tab direction to vertical, or to a custom tab order specified by the app developer. Access has a nice tab order function you could look at for inspiration.

Access Generated PDF Files.
When a user generates a PDF via a template, they only have an option to view or download it immedately. we should have the ability to specify where the generated PDF file is stored, (like in a FileStoreCDN) so we can then use the file in various ways, ie: able to send a URL link in an email to download it directly from FileStor. These generated PDF's get expensive to process over and over when we have such a limited # of them per month. We should have access for 24 hours to the Generated files....3 votes -
Allow both SAML and table/view authentications on the same DataPage
It would be very helpful if we could use one DataPage for both SAML SSO and table/view authenticated users. Currently, I have separate DataPages for these two types of user authentication.

Default setting for sorting the choices in a dropdown list
It would be nice if the "Sort by" option for a lookup table used in a dropdown field was set to "none" so that it automatically matched how the lookup table was organized.

Make it possible to hide sections based on fields that are not editable
it is often the case that we want to hide sections of a form based on a field that is not editable on the form itself. It would save a lot of time and effort if this was made possible with the rules.
This is especially true on detail reports where no fields are editable but we still need to conditionally hide / show sections.

Export Database Schema into an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD).
As my two databases in Caspio continue to grow, and the current app has been inherited from previous IT people and Caspio dev, I would like to look into the Database Structure to optimize and normalize the Database design, thus Export Database Schema into an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD).
As far as I know, these databases sit on SQL Server, there must be a way to export the schema just SQL Server can do.

Multiple table relationship diagrams
I have many Apps some of which share tables some don't. I would like to be able to see a table relationship diagram unique for each application. At the moment as far as I can see there is only one diagram for the entire account meaning I have to keep hiding and showing different tables. This is tedious when I have up to 100 tables.

Remove "No options available" On a Cascading Dropdown field in Inline Edit
Have the ability to remove or change the message 'No options available' on a cascading dropdown.
Currently, it is only possible in Forms/ Details. Would love to see this in a Tabular Report, Inline Edit as well.

Create Masking of Tables for Root Admin Users
For Main tables with informations:
Create Masking function to display !@#$$% characters on selection of key rows in data tables - which requires a authentication key to be placed by the admin to un mask information to its actual state
1 - Further enable a notification email function to a senoir POC whenever this function is performed
2 - Create user log tracking when this is done

Fix virtual fields on popups
When you have virtual fields loaded in a popup which have the same number as one on the main page they confuse each other.
For example if you add a calculate field which refers to virtual1 in the popup but there is also a vitual1 on the main page it takes the value from the main page.
You actually have to add more virtual fields until you get one with a unique number. IT took me ages to figure out what was going on as if you load it in preview it works.

BUG - pdf document template does not recognize duplicate joins in view
I have a training table which has a trainer and many participants. Both the trainer and the participants are held in a staff table. To be able to get the names of the trainer and participants I created a view which has 2 instances of the staff table.
When trying to map these fields to a pdf document template the Data source field, although it shows both staff joins, it will only allow select from one.
This is a bug as I cannot select both the staff and the participants to add to the template.

allow filtering a report by pre-determined criteria AND search form
Sometimes I want to be able to filter a report on pre-determined criteria through passing parameters, but also want to allow users to further search those results. For example, using an event ID to filter participants for a specific event, but also allowing users to filter by name or location.

Dynamically Update File Names on Scheduled Import
It would be extremely beneficial if the scheduled import/export tasks could dynamically update the file name with the current date. Many of our files must have the current date attached to the file name for repository purposes. Due to this, we have to manually import all files everyday. Dynamic file name capabilities would allow for automation.

Simulate tasks and triggers
I think it would be a very good idea to be able to simulate the tasks before launching them and when validating them.
Somehow this could indicate how many mails would go to how many recipients or if you are in update/insert it could indicate how many records and where they would go.
It is very common to create tasks that send mails to several people but it is very important to make sure that it is really what you want and that no customer or user receives something by mistake with other information.

Caspio chatbot datapage
Hey caspio! I love the chatGPT integration - very cool. Keep going with the AI push. We'd love to see a caspio AI chatbot datapage that has built in access to caspio tables. This would allow users to make a chatbot datapage within caspio that has native access to caspio tables. We're looking into this now with zapier and other tools but we end up needing to copy our caspio data out to other tables for that chatbot access... Let's keep it all in caspio!

datapage element limiter
Datapage element have the capability to control what alphanumierc that the text box accepts.
Ex. It only accept all uppercase/auto uppercase, number only and customer like it only accept certain special characters.
