barcode generator
I think it will be a great idea if we can generate barcode,QR code, and RFID code generator to the table by combining desired fields by using formula. This feature can generate new customers like manufactures, who uses this feature for inventory control database just by scanning the said barcode,QR code and RFID code to the database created using caspio.

To make ture sense of white labeling
To have a true sense and complete purpose of white labeling feature, I think it will be great if the code to be deployed to any website will be encrypted or caspio can create virtual domain or some kind of key for the customer identification that replace "caspio.com". in the embedded section of the code that copied and posted to individual webpage or framing, that way customer can get what they are actually paid for as white label and customer can also protect some unethical people who steal sources page just by doing the right click on the page source…

Authentication improvement
When dealing with many customers using the same application, it is important to block or allow access depending on customers behaviors (e.g. a customer failing to pay his monthly fees may have his access suspended). To achieve this, I would like to use a company table (from Caspio aspect the source) that has a status field (yes/no) to state if the system can be used or not by a company. As part of the authentication, a check to a table (as said earlier, created by the application developer) that contains that value will be very use full if not critical.…

Customization of exported csv files
I use scheduled tasks for exporting and importing data for use in other systems. I need csv files where the separators are semicolon and without qoutation marks. The standard files I export now has this format:
"Jack","Jones","male","40"
I need this format:
Jack;Jones;male;40
I am sure there are other formats thats also needen by others, so I would like to see that the export format could be customized in some way. These settings should be enabled individually for each export.1 vote -

Currently you have a link on the Datasheet tab to download the table to a file. It would be nice and efficient for a DOWNLOAD link on [Tables>New>TABLE DESIGN tab]

Move up/move down arrows on join page in view setup
Currently when setting up views, the order of the table joins cannot be altered. When a modification has to be made to the joins in a certain order, all joins below the one to be modified or added must be deleted and re-added.

Move Up / Move Down option in Tables datasheet view
There needs to be a Move Up / Move Down option in Tables datasheet view. I created a lookup table called in from a Form field multiple choice. The only sort options are alphabetical. Tech support said thats my only option except delete all the table datasheet entries and redo them in the order you want. Not ideal if I have 50 entries and/or add to it occasionally. With each new option I have to rebuild the table? An Insert Here or Move Up/Down option would be fantastic here.

"Limit to List" Option similar to Access
When typing a table/lookup view to a field, there is no way to force the user to ONLY select the options listed. In Access, this was really easy, you attached the "lookup table", and on the form page select limit to list. This forced the user to only to pick from the list available to them. This helps maintain data integerity. We get you can accomplish this in a dropdown, but need it in all other options, "autocomplete", "Cascading autocomplete". The reason we do not like the dropdown is you lose the contain feature, but by gaining the contain feature…

Make it possible to search with "contains" in dropbox
When using dropdown in a form, I would like to be able to search in a dropdown with the criteria "Contains". Now, if I type "C", the cursor jumps to the first Item in the list that starts with the letter "C". I would like to be able to narrow down the list when typing and where only items that contains the text I typed are displayed

Enable different fields for value and display when using autocomplete
Similar to what you can do with dropdowns where there is one field for the display in the dropdown but when you select it, it can grab a different field for the value.

Add simple Analysis tools from UML
Add some analysis tools from UML like Class Diagram flow charts put most the Class because it is the most useful Diagram in translating the ideas and

have a date filter for prior to x number of days, in other word, pull all records, with date of older than 60 days ago.
When review data that users have entered, it would be helpful to be able to have a filter that is greater than a certain number of days, for example, pull all records a user entered where the created date (timestamp) is older than 60 days ago.

Allow different formulas and/or functions to be applied to different fields listed in the Totals & Aggregation option
Can you provide an option that allows different formulas and/or different functions to be applied to different fields selected in the Totals & Aggregation option section instead of applying same formula or function to all selected fields?

Formula fields as row headers in a pivot table
The pivot report allows multiple row header fields but sets them as indented / grouped elements. I would like to build a formula field out of concatenating the underlying fields in the table.

Completing forms via a Chatbot
I would love to be able to easily create or edit records in tables and views through interaction with a chatbot in stead of using the traditional datapage form interface. this way i could change the information gathering process into an engaging and fun conversation rather than a traditional form.
