  1. Suggestion for flexibility/consistency and ease of use

    Increasing flexibility/consistency and ease of use by
    1) Adding 'form element' (as in data page), to results page (instead of just calculation) the system would also look & feel more consistent
    2) Most important enable 'hidden' option in 'form elements' to be in ADDITION to other choices e.g. so you could choose 'calculate' and 'hidden' together (really helpful for avoiding the Html to hide the column)

  2. Customizable date/time popup

    It would be great if I could select the precision required for a date/time popup field so that the user either has to
    - select a date (current only option)
    - select a time
    - select a date and time
    - select a month and year (e.g as https://www.jqueryscript.net/demo/Simple-Clean-Date-Picker-Plugin-with-jQuery-Air-Datepicker/)
    - select a quarter and year (Q1/Q2....)

    For security and for marketing purposes, would be much nicer to be able to whitelabel the link

  5. Make it possible to open a PDF instead of saving from a datapage in a website.

    When clicking on a LINK to a PDF, make it possible to OPEN the PDF in the webpage instead of SAVING the file. Most other PDF links open in the browser. Caspio only will allow saving the file.

  6. I would suggest an undo button in the trigger development. It is easy to lose all work with one change.

    When developing a trigger you may want to add a select or then realize you need to make a change. I would like the capability to undo to my last point. I can do that in sql server

  7. Ability to view user logs by DataPage so a user activity can be tracked.

    Once a user logs in, I would like to see DataPages he/she visited, and time he/she spent on each page. Currently there is no option to search user logs by DataPages or activity.

  8. Provide Users with a standard option for working with List-String data elements.

    In my case, I have designed a table with one of the fields defined as a List-String element. The List-String element is filled with Work Codes from production. A manager is provided a datapage where they can set to TRUE specific workcodes that an individual employee is certified to complete. In another datapage, I wish to fill a dropdown box with the names of those employees that are certified to complete TaskA.

  9. Allow using App parameters in Triggers

    Currently in triggers , it s not possible to use App parameter so if you send an email through the trigger , you have to type the email instead of using the parameter and if the email is changed , you have to go through all the triggers and change it one by one which is exactly the reason why we have app parameters

  10. Labels for Sections, HTML Blocks, and Virtual Fields in Wizard to Configure Details Page

    I have a DataPage with a lot of HTML Blocks and Sections. The names of these in the Wizard, on the "Configure Details Page Fields" are just "Section 1, Section 2... and "HTML Block 1, HTML Block 2..." you get the idea. So, I never know what the section is or the HTML block is, until I open it and look at it. It makes it hard to quickly navigate and do other activities. I would like to be able to add a custom label that shows in the wizard, like "Section 2 - Landscaping", or HTML Block 44 -…

  11. Reduce empty space in caspio datapage editor

    Creating and editing caspio datapages can be made a lot more user friendly by making use of the freely available empty space.

    Instead of cramming the editor and having to add scroll bars (both vertical and horizontal) I kindly suggest increasing the size of the editor instead.

  12. exporting data from caspio - tables - does not indicate which application they are in. this would be helpful

    When exporting data on tables from caspio - I am not able to determine which application that table is in. We have a production and a test application and the names are the same. It would be nice to have the app next to the table.

  13. Safari Browsers on macOS or iOS (Not allowing user to Login)

    Hi Support,

    I think Caspio should give a notive on this issue. Safari Browsers on macOS & iOS will not be able to login if there is Caspio's Login script on the html which the user can login easily using Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer.

    The only fix which is available in macOS & iOS platform is set the Safari's Preferences > Privacy > Disable "Prevent Cross Site Tracking"

    And this is great inconvenience to redirect user to disable this setting in their Safari Browsers. Whats more problematic here is ? Even firefox will disable the site tracking in…

    Thank you for your feedback. In the upcoming release, you will be able to log in to Caspio applications using browsers with cross-site tracking prevention enabled. This will work for applications deployed with all methods except iFrame deployment. Stay tuned for iFrame solution update in the future releases.

  14. Incorporate Machine Learning and AI in Caspio Bridge

    It would be nice to incorporate Machine Learning Services in Caspio Bridge's SQL Server to brings Artificial Intelligence (AI )directly to Caspio Bridge. This wil enable users to query our Caspio Bridge database applications using natural language

    A way of identifying fields which are no longer in use in any data page so you know what can be safely deleted would make the system much easier to manage overall

  16. If you go to sites and try to add a new SFTP site it only gives you the option for login and password. What if we need to do SSL cert or SSH

  17. Open datapages directly into Grid Edit mode

    Datapages cannot currently be opened directly into Grid Edit mode even if the "Grid Edit" flag is set on the datapage settings. Instead the datapage opens in a list view and items such as checkboxes appear as values yes/no instead of a checkbox.
    The datapage is therefore unusable until manually switched to grid edit.

    The datapage can be forced to switch to Grid Edit via javascript but the page still loads in list mode and then refreshes when the script is executed which is a terrible user experience and makes the app look very unprofessional.

  19. Able to Save a data page and continue working on same page

    It would be great if you could save your work on a data page AND continue (data page is still open) instead of pressing Finish which closes the data page; then you have to reopen it.

  20. Add Function to display a message in Triggered actions

    It would be useful to be able to display a message when a triggered action runs and meets a certain condition.I could then inform the user of confirmation, actions required to rectify or warn them the other table did not update and why.
