  1. datapage element limiter

    Datapage element have the capability to control what alphanumierc that the text box accepts.
    Ex. It only accept all uppercase/auto uppercase, number only and customer like it only accept certain special characters.
    applies to insert record, bulkedit, and inlineedit

  2. Multiple Tables in a Datapage !!

    Why datapages are limited to a single table? View's do not provide multiple editing, and do not help. To keep our tables 'Normalized' sometimes we need to us multiple tables to keep the size down, however there is no way of accessing multiple tables inside a single datapage for editing purposes. Relationships do not accomplish this either.

  3. Ability to use Tables in Bridge inside FLEX...a Bridge between both sides...

    Flex is really nice, but us Bridge users with established apps are left out in the cold; There is no means of using the new Flex functions and nice GUI with our old apps in Bridge. If there was some way to access at least the tables inside Flex (from the bridge side) then we could start to use Flex without having to re-write our entire APP.

  6. Global Flex DataParts for Embedded Flex Pages

    Currently, when using the deployed Flex app URL, the Flex Header and Footer behave as global elements across all pages. However, when Flex pages are embedded into an external website, these global header/footer elements are excluded. If a user wants to create their own header, menu, or custom styling, this will require each embedded page to redundantly include its own header/menu logic. If using Custom CSS, flex requires dataparts containing this CSS to be present in each page if embedding into an external website. This consumes an excessive amount of DataParts and is inefficient.

  8. Access permission to create and edit web services profiles without being an administrator

    I need to give access permission to create and edit web services profiles without being an administrator. Can a default account (like: administrators and app managers) be added by Caspio developer in the coming update. This will help all Caspio customers.

  9. Make "Data Source" a hyperlink leading directly to the table/view source.

    This could likely be implemented in hours, if not minutes, and would make the entire app building process so much smoother. The suggestion, simply make the Data Source a clickable hyperlink that leads you directly into the table/view.

    I spend so much time fishing around my apps looking for the correct table, so I can pop in, add a field, or change a field type, just to move forward with building my app.

    In an ideal world:

    Tables would have their own folders for easy management

    Tasks could be run while inside the task

    Views would have the option to…

  10. Add the ability to bulk detach unused shared tables.

    Tables cannot be detached from apps if there are other tables in the app that are linked via trigger actions.
    This can mean multiple trigger actions have to be disable(deleted?) in order to detach the tables.

    I would greatly appreciate the option to bulk detach linked tables.

    Even a clean up option to remove any tables not currently in use by a view or datapage would work.

  11. Create an App for Ios and android that lets a user access some minimal reports, and entry forms

    Instead of users going through a browser to access flex GUI, it would be nice if there were a simple app, that would allow users to be able to access some simple/basic forms and reports.

    Having a saved password in the app would be nice or the ability to use face recognition to enter login credentials.

    So people can chat with someone to help them with the best way to deal with those people that are using or cheating on them and treat them as well as they are trying to treat you

  14. When exporting data on list page - use the details page field names - not table field names

    When you export the data from a details report page/list, it takes the actual table field names which are usually either too long or do not make sense some times to the user. Like the option of keeping it the way it is or using the details page renamed field names

  15. Provide a listing of all locations of fields that if deleted from tables will cause dependent Datapages/Views to become unstable.

    When trying to delete unused fields from a table, if they show up ANYWHERE in any datapage or view the system gives a warning that proceeding with the deletion may cause instability. It takes LONG time to go into each possible datapage and and view to try to locate where you've got those fields and delete them so they don't cause this problem. Since the system found them well enough to tell you they exist, why can't the system provide you a list of there they are located so you can find them easily, too???

  20. Provide a feature for datapages that allows the creation of a beginning and ending balance.

    I have a datapage that produces a monthly statement. I am able to create an aggregate to display the total of items listed on the statement. But I'm not able to do a "Beginning balance" - the total either a) at the end of the prior month or b) the total of all items for that client prior to the monthly statement (these would be essentially the same, just different ways of getting the data).

    What would be very useful is a type of aggregation field that can be constrained by date, or other field. Then I could use it…
