  1. Failed log table for Zapier/Trigger errors

    When a table is using a trigger, sometimes their is an error from Zapier (trigger) to the table (action) after a zap has been triggered. It would be nice to have some way to easily see how often, when, and why triggers fail.

    The error is recorded on Zapier error logs (see screenshot) but the error seems to be caused from Caspio side.

  2. 'IP Restriction on Application Level'

    I want the ability to enter the list of IPs for IP Restriction at the application level and not one at a time on each deployed datapage. This is to meet some security requirements.

  3. Recently my computer broke so I've been had to use Caspio on my phone and I found it really hard constantly having to zoom in to tap a b

    So I was thinking for like your phones tablets or computers it would auto fit your screen like it will automatically zoom in and size it based on the size of your screen for an example if you have a smaller screen the text will zoomed in a bit bigger instead of zoomed out where you have to zoom in

  4. Destination after record update/insert - Generate PDF Template

    Currently, to make use of the Templates feature to generate PDFs from your datasource values, you need to include a Generate PDF link on a datapage. The user will click on this link to generate a PDF using the linked Template.

    It would be nice if we could choose to Generate PDF after the user clicks Update/Submit. If it was included in the Destination Options - 'Destination after record update/insert', we could make it so after the user updates the data and clicks Update, the PDF is automatically generated and downloaded.

  5. For datapages that are copies - change the default download file name to the datapages new name

    Currently, the old filename gets carried over- would be nice to either have the renamed datapage name or be cleared so we don't forget to change it! :-)

  6. Allow special characters in URL for Site HTTP/HTTPS type.

    When you create a new Site and choose type as HTTP or HTTPS, URL should allow special characters. See attached.

  7. Parameters in data source

    DataPage1 -> DataSource = tblData[@authfield:AccountID]

    AccountID = 1 -> DataSource = tblData1
    AccountID = 2 -> DataSource = tblData    2

    This would streamline deployment of cloned apps tremendously.

  8. Adjustable data page elements list

    Adjustable data page elements list in the datapage wizard as my element names are often long especially when in a view and there seems to be spare spare on the screen and on the tabs beside the element list.

  10. Add a Title option to Field Options

    In addition to a Label and Hint a Title would be a nice feature.

    On the "Search and Report Wizard - Configure Details Page Fields" page under the "Standard" tab in "General Options" there is a field to add a label and under the "Advanced" tab in "Field Options" there is a field to add a hint.

    A field to add a title in the "Field Options" would be awesome. Hints are a slow, cumbersome, and ugly cousin of Titles.

  11. Add names to link targets

    The target tab for links is great!

    It would be even better if we could add a custom name.

    Names allow you to use iframes to display many CB Data Pages on one web page and reload only the specific CB Data Page you made a record change in.

  12. Add Link Options to "Destination after record operation: Go to a new page"

    It would be great to be able to use add options in addition to the link address when you choose "Go to a new page" after a record operation.

  15. Add a dark palette option for administration

    A modest request. Would it be possible to add a dark palette option to caspio? The ultrabright light palette can be tough to look at for 8 hours a day (as I often do) designing things. This could be something a user could select from their profile page - e.g. admin color palette.

    Adding Max and Min to filtering criteria will allow more versatility to filtering, especially around time and date stamps which would allow the first and last record to be identified.

  17. Hide html blocks using rules

    It would be nice that HTML Blocks inside Datapages could be hidden by using rules.

    For example, I use "<a href="#">My Link</a>" in the HTML Block but I want it to show only when cretain fields are not blank or any other criteria I might need.

  18. Add a SUM field as a data type to perform cross-table tabulation

    I chose Caspio over a newer competitor of Caspio because I could have a LITTLE more latitude using Caspio....however, I nearly went with the competitor because they had a SUM field option, that I could set up in a separate table and sum amounts in another table based on criteria determined in my current table.

    This functionality is sorely missing. It was the basis of my first support ticket with Caspio. I was told "if you are looking to have a table value updated based on some action or value changed in a different table, this may require a trigger…

    Create rules for spreadsheet uploads and fopr automated tasks (e.g., if null value in column "a" don't include row). There could be many others rules that could distribute the data differently based on the rule. Another good example would be to give admins the ability to setup rules that allow users the ability to import using a spreadsheet but following the setup of a form they normally fill out.
