Add import progress indicator to top menu or side menu of admin
I'd like to see a small bar progress ticker for import jobs. It doesn't have to update in realtime - just on load would be fine.
If it could include an estimate of time remaining that would be great, but I'd just like a notice somewhere saying that an import is in progress. Otherwise, if I lose track in the middle of a complex job an I start another import and then get the error messages which wastes time.

Move a record from a table to another
Hello,
would be nice to have an option to move a record from a table to another.
In my case for example, when I want to blacklist a record I have on my table, I move it to a Blacklist table to then make sure with a view between the two tables that the blacklisted company is not registered again in the first table.Right now we need to export/download the data, delete the record in the first table, then import it on the new table, quite time consuming.

Deployed DP with name in the script
It could be great to insert the DP and APP names as comment with the deployed code.
So we always know what script represents, instead of having to do it manually1 vote -
Allow us to customize the data usage notifications
I wish Caspio was like Comcast – I get all manner of notification as I approach my data transfer limit.
I would like to choose when I get the notifications based on percentage used.

Tool to estimate data usage
I would like to know as I develop datapage how much I should expect it to draw down on my data usage.

Conditional Redirect Based on the existence or non-existence of a required parameter.
"I'd like to request the ability to have a user redirected to a page (URL/Datapage/Etc) if a datapage that requires a parameter noticed that parameter has not been received for any reason.
For example, our users upon login are directed to a page where they select from a dropwon project they are working on. The project that is selected passes a ProjectID parameter that is required in many other datapages in our system. This is so that the user does not have to repeatedly select the project on each datapage after. This parameter is currently stored in the browser…

Create a link back to the support page.
If you notice every time you go to idea box/ forums/ ticketing etc. there is no link going back to the support page itself. The link shown is caspio.com. So to avoid multiple clicks and easy use. I suggest to create a link back to the main support page.

add "Totals and Aggregations" field in automatic emails
It would be helpful if it was an option to add totals & aggregation fields to automatic emails.

Create a JSON datapage report type
I'd like to see a datatable report that outputs a script tag with the recordset returned as a string named for the DP and the value being the recordset returned as a JSON object.

add navigate to next/previous records to the update data page
When you get to the Details page, you can enable this feature - Navigate to next/previous records. It would be useful it this was available on the Update data page.

Bulk Edit Disable selections until checked by user
Bulk Edit is completely confusing to the user if there are several options, as to exactly what they’re updating. Bulk Edit form should have all edit options dis-abled until one of the check boxes on the left are checked- thereby making the edit option enabled- so the user knows exactly what is ‘active’ and updating. My users get totally confused by having to choose from a drop down and then go check a box that may or may not be relevant, and it seems like other edit options may be happening (because they're not disabled- just being 'unchecked' isn't clear…

reinstate searchable help topics
I'm looking for a quick reference on how to do something. I recall I used to be able to search and find a list of how-to articles and videos. Is my memory failing or did this go away?

Include a copy of the last few Scheduled Exports in the history
Our scheduled task exports the last day's worth of data from about a dozen views. When someone screws up a file from several days back and needs a new copy it is tricky to re-create it.
I would like to be able to download a copy of recent exports from the Scheduled Task History page. 3-7 days' worth would be plenty, as the issue is most likely to happen with files from the weekend.

Allow users to select multiple data page elements
When editing datapages, it would be nice if Caspio allows user to select multiple datapage elements in the Configure fields wizard, to move/delete them in between sections

update log of the "online help center"
In the beginning, I read a lot in the online help center . I see now often new or updated items. Is it possible to keep track of an update log of the "online help center"

In Logic tab there should be dynamic comparison at right hand site
In Search and Report wizard or in creating views at right hand site there is option of putting values which happens to be fixed. But like other database there should be option of selecting value dynamically either by query from tables or by variables as right hand side value for comparison. Also there should be option for "in" or similar operator to match all or any value from the list

Hide doublets, by selecting fields in wiews or datapages would be nice.
If i want to find some unique fields in a table or a wiew I have to export
to excel, take away doublets and import again.1 vote
