2. Code editing

   I have finally given up on creating javascript and HTML code directly to the code editor window (CodeWindow.jpg). There is obviously no code error-checking, which is inconvenient but I think that would be difficult to feature (idk...). However, can we not have a monospace font that is standard of (all?) code editors out there? (ActualCode_Editor.jpg) And why can't the size of the code window be made bigger?

4. Multiple Fields in Dropdown

   It would be very powerful if we could use Multiple Fields for in our Dropdown (Select) input fields.

   This is a pretty standard database feature, and is lacking in Caspio's Online platform.

   i.e. First and Last name, Name and Date, ToDoActivity, ToDoAssignedTo, and DueDate, etc.

5. Create a link back to the support page.

   If you notice every time you go to idea box/ forums/ ticketing etc. there is no link going back to the support page itself. The link shown is caspio.com. So to avoid multiple clicks and easy use. I suggest to create a link back to the main support page.

7. Have the option to not have the delete confirmation box appear when a user tries to delete records.

   Skipping the Delete Confirmation box when a user tries to delete records. They should be able to delete a record without a confirmation. The pop up box isn't even mobile friendly and hides in the I-Frame! Very sloppy interface here!

8. Accessibility for Section 508 Compliance

   1. Authentications do not have page titles - When a Datapage uses an authentication, I noticed that the <title> element within the <head> code for that page is empty. But once a DataPage is launched, the <title> element is the same as the DataPage name (which is good). WCAG 2.0 SC 2.4.2https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/navigation-mechanisms-title.html states that all Web pages must have a <title> that describes the topic or purpose of the page. Currently, we are out of compliance with this success criterion since our authentication pages do not have titles. This is something we would like to work with Caspio developers to remediate.

   2. Color Alone for Chart DataPages - WCAG 2.0 SC 1.4.1https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/visual-audio-contrast-without-color.html states that color alone cannot convey meaning. This is because users who are color blind, or who have difficulty distinguishing colors from one another would not be able to interpret a bar graph or pie chart with a legend based solely on color. The remediation for this is to make available a secondary visual characteristic, such as a pattern fill, a shape, or outline. It seems like adding additional styling options for charts would be an easy fix for Caspio developers.

   3. Sort by form element is not labeled correctly - After generating a tabular report, the “sort by” form element is not associated with the <label> element. WCAG 2.0 SC 3.3.2https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/minimize-error-cues.html requires that labels or instructions are present for all form elements. All you need hear is to add for = “asort” into the <label> tag and then this element will be labeled properly.

   4. DataPage charts are really image maps, but we do not have any control over the tab order of the elements in the charts. For example, I made a basic bar graph, and both the label and the data value receive focus by a screen reader, but that focus is out of order so it does not make sense. This is yet another accessibility issue since screen reader users land on the elements in the charts and cannot make sense of what data goes with what label. It would be great if we could have the option to set the tabindex for the elements in the charts, or at least have access to the chart source code so we could do this manually. The only workaround I can come up with at this point is to use aria-hidden in the iframe tag so that the chart is ignored by screen readers and then provide a text alternative for AT users.

11. Access Caspio data from Power BI

    I use Microsofts Power BI for management reporting, and I would really like to include data from Caspio into these datasets. I know it's possible to do so by exporting it through scheduled tasks, and then set up an import to Power BI. To avoid this "double transfer" it would be nice to be able to get data directly.

12. Conditional Redirect Based on the existence or non-existence of a required parameter.

    "I'd like to request the ability to have a user redirected to a page (URL/Datapage/Etc) if a datapage that requires a parameter noticed that parameter has not been received for any reason.

    For example, our users upon login are directed to a page where they select from a dropwon project they are working on. The project that is selected passes a ProjectID parameter that is required in many other datapages in our system. This is so that the user does not have to repeatedly select the project on each datapage after. This parameter is currently stored in the browser cache and frequently over time is either corrupted or removed from the browser cache. Thus making any datapage that normally receives the *Required parameter ProjectID display some sort of error due to the lack of the parameter.

    I would like a feature that allows me to choose a URL/datapage/etc that would be a redirect destination if this required parameter is not present. In my previous example this destination would be the webpage where the user selects the Project and can pass the Project_ID parameter again."

13. Provide an option on submitting a datapage form for both showing a message AND viewing the same form.

    We have a number of cases where adding data happens in serial, but users want some sort of feedback to indicate that the record they just submitted was actually saved. It would be nice to have an option that showed a text message/alert above the same form - so they'd know their record was saved and they are all set to enter another.

15. Add a dark palette option for administration

    A modest request. Would it be possible to add a dark palette option to caspio? The ultrabright light palette can be tough to look at for 8 hours a day (as I often do) designing things. This could be something a user could select from their profile page - e.g. admin color palette.

    I wish Caspio was like Comcast – I get all manner of notification as I approach my data transfer limit.

19. Improving User Roles and Permissions on Bridge Accounts

    The User Roles in the Bridge Account need to be updated to seperate user roles and access to tasks within the Admin console. eg: Import/Export and Scheduled tasks should have there own user group as well as adding users. These tasks need to have seperate selection under the user/permissions access so specific user groups can be assigned to these features without compromising development access.
    In Corporate Organisations roles between development, tasks and user management are segragated duties.

20. Be able to setup the frequency for datapage notification

    Once the datapage is updated, the user receives a notification.

    I would like to setup frequency, as the user can update several times a day the information registered. So receives 10 times the same notification per day.

    Not like a drip email feature but more to be able to setup several messages as notification depending on conditions, and also be able to stop sending messages after conditions are met
