Add Nil As A Boolean Option
This is a pretty boring change but it will clean up Datapages. A Boolean is the Yes/No Datatype. In most databases a Boolean has three options TRUE, FALSE, and NIL (blank). Adding NIL would be important as we could then hide empty Yes/No values on Datapages and empty Yes/No's wouldn't count against our Data Records.

Fix a bug where datasheet only displays date when other parts of timestamp still exist

I implemented the above solution in order to insert just the date for a particular column. However, upon creating a task that included a date comparison on that column, we found that matches were not being made correctly because we didn't remove milliseconds as well. This took some trial and error since the datasheet was only showing the date part of the timestamp, even though milliseconds were not 000.

Add filter Criteria for Previous Day | Previous Week | Previous Month | Previous Year
It's not possible to create a view for a date range that has already past.
Current Year|Month|Week|Day are all nice, but not effective when looking back at data.

Ability to sort View on specific field
When using a single table to store all my drop down values, it would be great to be able to sort on a custom column. There are times where sorting alphabetically is not the correct choice.
Also, if you could sort on a view it would be one less step to configure in the data page. It would help with reusability.

Image file as URL
Instead of uploading image files to each file field, the ability to pass an image url only as file parameter is easier and space saving.

Add a better field type for arrays/lists/collections
Right now the list data type can't be used as a true collection. For instance:
What if you have a collection of orders, and each order is for a number of products?
I'd like there to be a field called 'products' in the orders table which would be either a list of strings, or better yet a list of references to a products table.
Instead, you can't add strings unless they were added in Caspio Bridge in advance. Worse, the only way to edit a string list is to check them off from a complete dropdown/listbox of all possible products,…4 votes -

When you want to filter a table, the List string fields don't appear in the "select field" dropdown list

Move Up / Move Down option in Tables datasheet view
There needs to be a Move Up / Move Down option in Tables datasheet view. I created a lookup table called in from a Form field multiple choice. The only sort options are alphabetical. Tech support said thats my only option except delete all the table datasheet entries and redo them in the order you want. Not ideal if I have 50 entries and/or add to it occasionally. With each new option I have to rebuild the table? An Insert Here or Move Up/Down option would be fantastic here.

Download link on [TABLES> NEW >TABLE DESIGN tab] to download the table design into a csv or other file.
Currently you have a link on the Datasheet tab to download the table to a file. It would be nice and efficient for a DOWNLOAD link on [Tables>New>TABLE DESIGN tab]
to download the TABLE DESIGN into a XLS, CSV or other file.4 votes -
Password protected table from deletion that can maximize security
I would like to see if the table that can be protected from deletion without putting passcode or password of the author or admin for maximum table security. Because if the table deleted all things are gone.

- allow one to freeze a column (e.g. the first 1 or 2 columns) on a Table

Enhance the View Criteria by using the trigger interface.
Instead of just having the current, kludgy view builder (that has very limited criteria capabilities when it comes to comparing dates in two tables) allow a user to opt to use the Trigger builder interface for building joins and setting criteria. This would dramatically increase the view building functionality.

Allow test runs of Tasks and Triggered Actions
It would be very helpful if it would be possible to enter test data into a task or triggered action to test the result without having to create a full testing environment. I'd like to be able to click "test task" or "test triggered action" and be able to enter any test data for any variables that are needed to test the task or triggered action. This would speed up the build process a lot.
Furthermore, it would be great if it would be possible to convert a triggered action to a task or vice-versa.

It would be great if a table field could be set with a default value or do a calculation on update.
If you use importing to get data into a table you can't interact with the data without manual intervention. That defeats the purpose of automatic importing or importing at al really.

Option for printing Table design in Caspio console
For having printout and system documentation , a table structure is mandatory. I wonder what such a simple option is not in the system,
The user should be able to print the table design/structure simply, and directly from Caspio , not by exporting to Excel first.4 votes -
Allow unequal joins
Unequal joins are not common, but when you need them, there are no good workarounds. They can do some magical things very efficiently.

allow copy/paste data from Excel into Caspio tables
I move data around a lot between Excel spreadsheets with copy/paste. I'd like to put some of these spreadsheets online with Caspio, but the inability to copy/paste from Excel to a Caspio table is a serious obstacle.

The Ability To Stop A Trigger If No Conditions Are Met
The use of CASE and IF/THEN statements in Triggers are very helpful - however, it would be nice if there was a logic block or something where we can STOP the trigger from executing.
In example, if you have an email trigger with a conditional CASE statement in the body, and none of the conditions meet the CASE statement, a blank email will still be sent out. If I could use the ELSE part of the statement will a STOP function, there would be no problem.

Attach Object
There is a way to detach an object from a specific App but there isn't a way to attach it to a specific App. You can Share the object but sometimes you simply want to move something to a specific App as part of house keeping.
