  1. Auto download data from List Report

    To download data from a List Report, it now takes 3 steps: 1. Click on Download data, 2. Double-click on (XML or CVS) file, 3. Click on "Open".

    It would be nice if there was an option in the Datapage setup that enabled automatic download and opened the file. In other words, when I launch the report it opens as an Excel file.

  2. Date format in table

    It is a good feature if the Date format can be changed in the table level. Currently, the date values are stored in the tables in the format MM/DD/YYYY.

  3. Autosave details page like Gmail does; critical feature for longer, detailed Details page

    When I type an email in Gmail or enter a contact into Gmail contats, google autosaves my entries as I go. This is a life saver when I'm typing a long email and my browser freezes.

    My users use Caspio forms (details page of search and report) to document interactions with customers. Their business requires detailed documenation. They find it very burdensome to continually "save" (or update form) to make sure their entries are "saved" to the database. Each update also reloads the page which causes annoying delays. They also often forget to "save" their entries and end up losing…

  5. Integrate Payment Processing as a standard feature

    Payment processing should be integrated within Caspio as a standard feature. You could limit the number of payment processors to Paypal, Google Checkout and a couple of others but this should absolutely be standard. Why is this an "add-on"?

  6. Allow radio buttons to use Yes/No data types

    When I set up my table, I naturally used Yes/No for questions with yes or no answers. Someone suggested I change the data page to radio buttons instead of check boxes, as it seemed unnatural to them (and to be fair, the change seemed to make sense from UX perspective.)

    I figured the change would be trivial, but oddly enough radio buttons cannot be used on Yes/No data types. Now I'm having to backtrack and add the fields to each data page after changing the data type.

    Could we get Yes/No data types to use Yes and No radio buttons?

    In rules, it would be great if we can automatically set a default value to fields based on rules. For example, if a checkbox is checked, set the value of field1 to value1.

    PLEASE VOTE!!! Schedule Task: Start at 9:00 AM and end at 9:00 PM every 15 minutes... I would like to be able to schedule task to run from a start time to a finish time each day and in minute increments. This allows me to only run the task when necessary minimizing data transfer. It also would allow for the table to update from FTP more often than every hour with our creating multiple tasks.

  11. Labeling of virtual and html block elements of datapages

    Currently virtual elements & html block elements are simply numbered in the order created, making it EXTREMELY time consuming to locate the components of your form. NEED to be able to label these myself!

    Oh yeah, if it was all WYSIWYG editing, that would be even better!!!

  12. Add Fields for TIME of Day or Hours/Minutes (HH:MM) without having to do a bunch of coding.

    Would like to be able have codes for time of day (singularly) and hours or minutes -- all as separate fields. As it is exists today, one has to use Caspio's calendar function and go through a process to separate fields and use virtual fields. Must this REALLY be so complex to configure one field?

  15. Advanced form rules and checks based on calculations of user input.

    We would like to prevent "garbage in" as much as possible by adding constraints on webforms.

    A good example would be for a Date of Birth field to only accept dates greater than 18 years ago.

    Another example would be to say field [x] must be greater than field [y].

  18. Ability to update or submit multiple records to different tables from a single form.

    Data normalization is important for flexible databases. The ability to update or submit multiple records would allow more sophisticated normalization. We need, for example, to store several types of firms in separate tables and use addresses for individuals as well as firms. Without the ability to update or submit multiple tables to different tables from a single form, we will not be able to use Caspio for our project.

  19. Prohibit an End Date to be earlier than a Start Date or display error mesage

    On our intake form, there are "Trip Start Date" and "Trip End Date" fields. It would be helpful to prohibit an End Date that is earlier than the Start Date (e.g., Start Date = 1/15/2019; End Date = 12/01/2018). Or an error message would be helpful. Currently this functionality requires custom JavaScript. Thanks!
