Make User editable database triggers, to allow for more complex and interesting applications
We currently have an application with a simple trigger built into it (when a User is approved, it generates a records of their Organization in a separate table from data captured at User creation, and connects the two records). But it was something a Caspio team created for us as part of a paid project, and it's not something we can access to innovate on or even troubleshoot on our own. I feel being able to customize triggers would allow for some much more powerful applications (that would be more user-friendly both for Caspio App developers, as well as for the users of those apps.
The feature is now available in Caspio 9.9 Release. Look for new Triggered Actions in Tables. More information can be found at https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/triggered-actions/

Totally agree, triggers are badly needed, i've spoken to Caspio about this and they are keenly aware both triggers and in table calculations are the two big ticket functions that hold the product back, I also bet they make a fair amount of money from the professional services for requests for both as custimizations.

Absolutely this is a good idea. It's a major weakness in Caspio's platform and would be a game changer. We had to pay for very simple copy functions and that really didn't feel good as a customer, believe me.
