  1. Duplicate entries in a tables.

    I often have entries that differ only minimally.

    Here a function to duplicate a record would be great. With this dataset I would only have to change the detail instead of entering everything again,

  2. Check if changed before asking to save.

    Finish/Close button should check if changes were made before asking if want save changes, like all other software have it.

  3. Check for any pending changes before auto logging off.

    I believe that after being idle for certain amt of time users getting kicked out of the app, there should be a message popping up "do you want to save changes for so and so..."

  4. Allow Multiselect Listbox to be viewed as Radio Buttons

    Currently for Multiselect Listboxes you can only choose between a dropdown and a listbox. It would be nice if we could format these as radio buttons that could have multiple options selected.

  5. Allow us to create a dropdown that default's to user's data in first item listed

    It would be helpful to be able to customize the order of a dropdown list. Specifically if it could default to the user's information but also allow him the option of selecting another item from the dropdown if necessary.

  6. Allow the count of the number of times that the List - String is selected in a table

    Currently you cannot count the number of times a List - String is selected in a table. Assume the List - String has 10 options and there are 5 records in the table. So if a user chooses 3 out of the 10 options in each record, you need the answer of 3 x 5 records, the COUNT would be 15.

  7. Time stamp your messages with the TimeZone of the user

    Looks like you are not respecting the timezone of the user for message timestamps. Example:
    9/1/2019 6:48:15 PM Greg Checking validity of time stamp. Should be 9/1/19 12:48pm

  8. Make all fields customizable in styles section like you have made the dropdown list

    The same way you made this customizable in styles, please make all types of fields.

    "New sections are added in the Styles Wizard for the following elements: multi-select dropdown and list box, inline edit and add, and missing required form elements."

    Instead of uploading image files to each file field, the ability to pass an image url only as file parameter is easier and space saving.

  14. Allow copying of Data Page configurations to different form types

    There should be a way to copy Data Page configurations from a Submission/Update form to a Details Page in a Report. If you want to use the same data page formatting, rules, calculations, and html blocks from an existing data page, you need to re-build all of these characteristics manually.

    Similarly, if you change data page types, you lose some of your configurations. For example, if you change from a Submitssion form to an Update form, all of the calculations are lost and need to be re-built. If there were a copy feature for the data page configurations, it would…

  15. Fix a bug where datasheet only displays date when other parts of timestamp still exist

    I implemented the above solution in order to insert just the date for a particular column. However, upon creating a task that included a date comparison on that column, we found that matches were not being made correctly because we didn't remove milliseconds as well. This took some trial and error since the datasheet was only showing the date part of the timestamp, even though milliseconds were not 000.

  18. Allow Display-only fields to be used in Rule Criteria

    On DataPages, Display-only fields are not included in the Rules drop-down for specifying criteria. Caspio currently supports only standard, editable fields in rule criteria. (Note that calculated fields and virtual fields ARE also included in the drop-down list and can be used for rule criteria.)

    This is a very restrictive limitation. There are many use cases where one might want to include a Display-only field in the rule criteria. These conditions should NOT be limited to editable fields.

    As a work-around, I added a virtual/calculated field and assigned it the value of an existing Display-only field, then wrote my rule…

  19. Need notifications for "failed" scheduled tasks.

    I had a very important scheduled task in a app that ran fine every day - then one day it failed for no apparent reason. I was not made aware of the failure and that caused us problems.

    Seems logical if a scheduled task fails there should be a notification someplace - email, or message, or something - only way to see a fail is to open every task and look at history on each one

  20. Caspio should be able to mail the complete list of addresses in one field!!! This is a must!!

    Notifications and mails are only possible to few addresses and limited in characters on the "to" field, I remember reading somewhere 200 characters.

    Mailing should be done to all users mails in one filed for multiple pourposes.
