Prevent a hide field rule from actually omitting the default data it contains from table
Never suspected a conditional rule to Hide Field actually meant omit data from the table. I have a lot of radio buttons with a default "No" value. However, some of those field can be hidden based on another condition rule. But just because the DP field is hidden from view in the form, I still want that default No value for it to appear in data table. Instead I get blanks for any hidden field with a default value set. search
Improved searching
When a user is searching for a word within a text field, any word with those characters in order is returned.For example, looking for all references to the word ear, results with "tear" and "earth" are returned, resulting in excess results.
it would be helpful if quotation marks or adding space(s) would help reduce excess results.

A dropdown option to "add new"
Maybe more of a tutorial even... But the option in a drop-down to add a new value (which can be triggered to add to the lookup table or custom values)

"Deselect all" button for tables in Relationship view
You can select "All relationships" in the view but then to undo that selection to deselect all of them and clear the canvas is a very time-consuming proccess.

Allow data type change from Text (64000) to GUID
Currently, when importing data from a CSV the GUID fields are auto-classified as Text (64000). When updating the table design one has to change the field to Text (255) first, then to GUID. Changing the data type on the import configuration doesn't help this either as the GUID specification import is overridden.

Revision History for Triggered Actions
Ability to have versions of triggered actions similar to that of Datapages. Including the ability to lock a version and promote. Would be a life saver while troubleshooting.

Eliminate duplicate fields
I have several tables that reference each other. I really should not have a CourseNames field in more than one table, but because of the way the formula fields, views, lookups, etc. don't work well with other tables, I have to list those names in more than one table. This is not proper database protocol....and a Caspio expert told me that this is the only way to accomplish what I have to do.

Multiple fields for unique ID
Allow a combination of fields to be a composite key
In some cases we want a combination of values to be unique. A sample scenario is to ensure that there is one student, attending a particular class on a particular date. This can be achieved if the combination of StudentID, CourseID, and AttendanceDate are designated as key and hence they have to be unique. Stripe payments. Allow to send info to stripe description
Actually is not possible to send any info to stripe description. When we receive a payment in stripe, done through caspio, is very difficult for the accounting team to allocate it. Would be really helpful to be possible to send field values to stripe description

Calendar Report
Upon further checking, it seems that downloading your Calendar DataPage is not yet possible using Caspio's Standard Features. What we can do for you is to consult the Professional Services Team to check if this is possible using custom coding.

Gantt Chart as a Standard Feature
Gantt charts are used in a wide variety of cases and are very popular. It seems Caspio is taking advantage of this, leaving less used and desirable Chart Types as Standard options, and adding the Gantt chart to the premium 'App Extensions' list.
The minimum you need to pay for a Gantt Chart is $750, which I imagine is for the complete bare-bones version. We already pay enough every month for your services, I believe a Gantt Chart in the Standard selection of chart types is more than manageable.

differentiate unused fields
We would like to be able to differentiate in a table which fields are not used anywhere, neither views, nor Datapages, nor Triggers, nor Tasks.
Many times the tables get fat and there are fields that are ultimately useless.14 votes -

Tabular Report Inline Insert without making all fields editable
At the moment, when trying to include Inline Add on the Results Page of a Tabular Report, if the fields in the report are not 'editable', you cannot enter in a value for that field in Inline Add.
It would be nice to be able to have access to all fields in Inline Add, but limit what fields can be edited for existing records Inline Edit.

See All Connections To Specific Table Field
Currently, the only way to view all connections related to a certain FIELD in a table is to click on DELETE for that field in the Table Design and view the Connections popup.
This seems like a horrible place to view this, being only 1 misclick away from ruining your database.
I am looking for a way to view all connections to a field (not an entire table) without having to go through the delete process.

Table Variable Headers
I would like to be able to create table variables for use in Triggers/Tasks that allow for changing the column headers. Currently table variable column headers use the field name in the table and this is usually not a readable, intuitive label to someone who might be sent a notification email.

Add the ability to change the default class of specific elements on a datapage
For instance I want an HTML block text on a page between 2 field entries. The "cbHTMLBlockContainer cbFormData" that are the class of an HTML block could be set in the user interface like a style for instance to "cbFormLabelCell cbFormLabel". I only want to do this on specific HTML blocks so changing the class attributes of cbHTMLBlockContainer cbFormData would not work as it would do All the HTML blocks.1 vote
