  1. allow for editing authentication

    On the Results Page Editing Options, would it be possible to add an editing authentication option (to turn editing either on or off) depending on who's logged in? Or to just allow an ediiting authentication to be used on the editing options choices page. Currently two data pages are needed for this funtionality.

  2. More than one authentication option for datapages/fields - to have admins see across restricted authentication

    Hi,
    It would be great to have a way to pypass the authentication for certain pages and fields or perhaps have more than one type of authentication for each datapage/field. This would allow admin users to have the same access that other local (regular) users have without the need to create separate datapages to admin users.

  3. Option to update record after email is sent

    There are a few instances where I have to send an email then update the record with a time stamp to show the email was sent so that we are not sending multiple emails.

    Caspio is pushing us to not use if statements but right now I have to for these. It would be great if we had an option to update a field after the email is sent successfully. If we could have that included in the email action then I could eliminate the If statements and hopefully increase the performance of my triggered action. An example of what…

  6. sms failed message report

    We can now send sms but if the message is not delivered we don't have a report that tells us which message(s) failed. We could be sending repeated messages to a customer that never receives them.

  7. Using datapage results in scheduled tasks

    I need to upload a csv table to a web page that includes sorting and calculated fieds. I can't use a view or a table. The results have to come from a collection of related tables. Sounds like a good idea, doesn't it?

  8. Provide a parameter for when a table was last updated.

    I update a certain table 1 time per week manually via import. After the import I need to enter 1, (or many) datapages that reference the table, and manually update HTML text field for "last updated MM-DD-YYYY).
    It would be nice to have system parameters for the tables that can give for example
    "last added record date"
    "last deleted record date"
    "last added or deleted record"
    or
    "last modified" (Any change to the data table)

  9. Send ONE Email For Multiple Records

    This has been discussed a few times in the forums. As it is right now, an email trigger will send one email FOR EACH record matching the condition.

    It would be helpful if we could have all matching records be sent in one email, instead of one email for each matching record.

    To get farther into it, being able to send only updated fields in a notification email/exclude blank fields instead of all records regardless of their values being changed would be sweet.

  10. REST API file from name

    The REST API only allows to search a file by the external key, which you have to index, it's very sub-obtimal. We should be able to get files based on names.

    the import and export options are very lacking in basic features, like setting a delimiter character in the import/export file formats.

  14. allow for an ODBC connection to our Views so we can use our data in Excel O365.

    We really need an ODBC connection with Excel (O365) so we can create more elaborate pivot tables and analytical tools. I'm told the plug-ins for Excel are only applicable for 2007 and 2010. Need it for current version(s), please.

  16. Return more metadata in the View API

    GET /v2/views/{viewName} API call only returns "Notes", We would like it to return:

    • List of Tables used
    • Identify which table is the editable table

    Optionally, it would be nice to also:
    - list of fields with field types.

  17. Allow Cascading elements with less than or equal to & greater than & equal to results functionality

    Please add functionality for cascading elements to filter cascade results using Less than & Equal to or Greater than & Equal to comparison types. Currently cascade results filter only using Equal to comparison type.

  18. Support for a Document/Letter DataPage

    It would be nice to have a DataPage type that would work as a Letter that can be combined with our Caspio fields. This would allow us to create pages like Proposals, RFIs, Acceptance/Admission Letters, etc. in a more professional and presentable way.

    Being able to create a dynamic letter, with static writing and inserted caspio fields, that could either be downloaded or printed would be awesome.

  19. Make all fields customizable in styles section like you have made the dropdown list

    The same way you made this customizable in styles, please make all types of fields.

    "New sections are added in the Styles Wizard for the following elements: multi-select dropdown and list box, inline edit and add, and missing required form elements."

  20. subdatapage as an datapage "Element Types"

    the possiblity to add certen amount of datapage to the footer of datapage

    "Form" datapage can include another "Tablure" datapage in the footer or as a a html section

    its good for dashboard and for specific app layout where user need to see another related information.
