Ghost text and/or onscreen help test
Ghost text would be text developers can write in a field when creating a datapage to explain or describe the field for users. The text should be grey/lighter than the regular font and disappear as a user clicks into the cell. Also if the field is left blank the form should not capture the Ghost text.
Additionally developers should have a option of keeping the text in the cell while the user clicks in. For instance a "$" inside an [Annual Income] field could stay in the cell as a user types so they know not to manual type the $ in there. (this option is not as critical)
On screen help text would simply be the opposite of ghost text. The help text would display in the foreground or to the side of the cell as a user clicks in. Developers could use this as an alternate way to explain more about the field to web users.
