Update multiple records in a batch
Implement the ability to update the value of one field in all records in a table that have a specific value in another field. Usage examples: Set the rebate for all items of type "old stock" to "20%" or set the color code of all records smaller than "0" to "Red".

Thank you again for this idea. Bulk edit is now implemented and available in all accounts. Look for the feature in Report DataPages.

I think batch update as a function would be really powerful beyond the bulk edit. Bulk edit is good from a human intervention perspective, the batch would be for pre-built logic that needs to be executed based on an event(Value change, Criteria met etc) and possibility of scheduling on "time of the day" / "day of the week" event.

"It's also one of the most powerful and basic features of any database." YES. Editing a local copy using Excel is impossible if people are simultaneously editing the online table. You have to take it offline. That defeats a primary purpose of using Caspio in the first place.

What sort of timescale is involved before this feature is available?

Either through the back end or front end or both.

An easy and efficient work-around to this is to create View Tables in Caspio and edit them in Excel -- export them to Excel or use your MS Plugin, edit the Tables and Import them back into Caspio - done!

As far as I can tell, this is a feature that many people have asked for. Its also one of the most powerful and basic features of any database. I did not see an existing post that targeted this specific functionality.
