Trigger Based Email
Success of most web applications requires a lot of user activities. In order to get users to be active companies needs to engage them. The most common way to do this is through email campaigns. It would be great if there is a feature to trigger an email to be sent based on certain criteria. For example, when a record is updated, send an email to a user or the user that the record is assigned to. Another is to have a program that would check table X and see if X criteria is met. If so, send template X from table X.

I wouldn't consider this as completed as you cannot specify the "from" email address for some reason. Need to be able to customize the salesperson's name in the "from" field for an email campaign.

This is a must have features.
Sending emails based on conditions met in a view for instance would open a new world of interactions.
Being able to do formulas in views would be cool too. -

This is a good idea. We already have automatic emails so why not make it autoresponder. I think in this way all those email credits would be better used.

We would even be prepared to pay for this as an option. You could hold the templates in a table. would be great to have this.

This must include a facility to create multiple email templates, which use data from specific tables or views. Upgrade the Destination & Triggers panel and the Email Options panel (acknowledge & notification) to invoke a specific template.
