  1. Cannot Save Chart as Image

    Have datapages deployed as Graphs. Users want to export, print or merely save these graphs as images so that they can be used in other applications (such as including a graph in a presentation). However, when right-click the graph and save as image, the image is NOT exported. In fact, in IE an error is thrown. Only in Chrome can I get the Graph to print. It seems strange that simple Windows standard functionality is not supported. This is a poor implementation of this functionality for Graph DataPages within Caspio. I have actually opened a Help Ticket for this, but…

  2. Allow users to be able to select the colors of their charts

    In the pie charts, it would be nice to be able to choose colors related to the values being charted. The colors Caspio chose aren't very pleasing and there is no way to change them apparently. I would like red, yellow, and green in my pie chart.

  3. create a feature for bulk enablement of "deployed" on data pages

    • sophisticated apps have a large number of pages and the manual process of "turning on" the deployment of each page can become mistake-prone, once you take into account that some pages may be "WIP" and you don't want to always expose all pages to the web yet....

  4. Give users the ability to customize UPDATE button text

    It would be great to be able to change the text of the button at the bottom of datapages to better reflect their use or intention. This would be especially helpful when the destination is another datapage or step in the process (for example, rather than having it say "UPDATE", it would be nice to be able to change it to "Select Date" when taking them to a different page to perform another action. Or, more simply, "REGISTER" or "SUBMIT" would also be commonly used by me.

    Button text can be customized to any text you prefer under the Localization object. Edit the Localization objects used in your DataPage and select Button under Forms/Details Pages categories. Under this section, you will be able to update the text of any button in the form.

  5. Time Out & Redirection - Please allow 8 hours of authentication ( a full work day ) before forcing new login

    Employees use (any system), but the authentication rules force them to login twice per day (unless you give them 12 or 24 hour access). It would seem to make sense to allow for a 8 hour authentication rule before forcing them to log back in, since most employees work an 8 hour day. - Unless there is some way to customize this that I am unaware of!

  7. Download files in xlsx instead of xls

    I would like to export/download (automatically through datahub) some files in a current MS Excel format in de backoffice. It's only possible in .xls now, but I would prefer .xslx.

  11. CONCATENATE for a calculation field.

    It would be great if there was a possibility to use an access style Concentration in a calculation or merge field.

    '[@field:a]' & ' some text ' & '[@field:b]' & ' more custom text.

    There is a way to do this with stuff but it is a bit more complex.

    A little icing on the cake would be to make it more dynamic with if statements or case functions.

  12. Can you create a video for deploying each of your ready made apps to websites like Weebly and Wix?

    As a non technical person, i have a hard time deploying some of your instant apps that have login redirection. It would be helpful if you had a video for each instant app that you have, it would make everyone's life easier.

  13. Enable GUID creation natively in tables

    Have table autonumbers support GUID/UUID format natively, rather than doing this through a form submission. This protects parameter-based applications from malicious URL forming.

    I use GUIDs in all of my table constructs to prevent this - but it prevents me from importing data directly into Caspio tables.

  14. Education Book

    bring in a education book or a complete pdf document. Help is there but it is hard to find answers to exactly what you are looking for. The book will help us discover many other capabilities of the tool which goes beyond a non engineers prespective

  15. Radar or Spider Charts

    I'd like to have a chart similar to Excel's Radar Chart so that people could look at and compare results for survey data, customer satisfaction... across a few subjects where the rating is the same. E.g., a Likert scale question on customer satisfaction for subjects such as value, cost, quality... they could then see the percent of respondents who said "satisfied" for 5 or 6 questions/subjects simultaneously.

  16. Ability to disable WYSIWYG editor in 'HTML Datapages'

    In HTML datapages there is no way to disable the WYSIWYG editor which is a real pain for front-end developers as we have no way to enter the HTML we want with our the WYSIWYG messing with the HTML.

    Currently the only work around is to open the datapage and copy the HTML from the source and past it back to the source view of the WYSIWYG editor to make any changes.

    Alternatively we need to stick to basic stuff that the WYSIWYG doesn't mess up which kind of defeats the purpose of being able to host HTML pages in…

  19. add GLOBAL headers, footers and other sections

    Right now, we have to add navigation menus, and header and footer code, to every data page, individually. When changes are made, we have to go through each of these data pages to apply changes.

    When an application is as large as ours, this becomes too difficult and time-consuming to maintain, and makes the app prone to errors and inconsistencies.

    Additionally, we would like to be able to have these GLOBAL areas controlled via authentication and other criteria. This way, we could achieve different navigation menus for different user types.

    We find that this features is definitely a must for…
