  1. onedrive. Dropbox, Box, Gdrive and other cloud services

    You should provide integration with Onedrive, Drop, Dropbox.

    At least the top cloud storage services, so, instead of uploading a file to your server on tables, we could load to our cloud server account and Caspio only stores the link instead of the file.

    I believe storing multimedia files Iaudio, photo, video, documents) is not Caspio main business, but database service and storage, so it would add many possibilities to store and publish multimedia data on websites.

    I've been doing some research on the main website builder services and none of them offer the possibility to create dynamic multimedia lists.…

    While it is not the consumer cloud drive, I think it achieve what you are referring to in an elegant way.

    Thank you for the idea. If I understand your suggestion correctly, you would like to leave media files or other files on your cloud drive but still use them as if they were loaded into your tables.

    This is currently possible. All you need to do is to enter the URL of your file asset, regardless of where it is, into text field and in your apps render the text field as Display Only and sub option of URL, etc. You can also embed your such entries into any HTML block.

  2. In a View, criteria does not seem to allow the comparision of two records in the same row

    In the View setup, under the "Field Properties" window there is an option to create criteria using "and" or "or" conditions.

    My requirement is to compare two field values in the same record. For example:
    Field 1 : DueAmount
    Field 2: Paid    Amount
    My criteria is DueAmount > PaidAmount

    Currently it seems that I can only do :
    Due_amount > " " Where " " could be a value (e.g. 600)

    This is badly needed to add more data flexibility to views

  3. Enable formula data type in table to be used as a data series field in chart

    Currently the formula field does not appear as a choice as a data series field in the configure chart options.

  4. Would it be possible to have the option to make a formula field in a table a unique ID?

    I love the new Caspio Bridge 9.4 feature where one can have formula fields in tables, but here's something that would make it even better: the ability to make it a unique ID if at all possible

  5. Add "Edit" button when viewing a view

    When I'm inside a view (I have the view open), it would be nice to have a shortcut at the top to jump straight to the "Edit" instead of having to go back to the view list then click on edit.

    Similarly, if after finishing edit there was an option to immediately open the view.

  6. Enable GZIP compression for datapages to speed up deployment and loading.

    Anytime there are multiple datapages on one webpage it slows the site down a lot.

  7. Can we add SQL to the table formula field for cross table calculations?

    Now that we have a formula field which is great for in table calculations can we take the logic step and include SQL commands or soem form of macro that would allow cross table calculations to be stored in table.

    For example at present we can SUM a range of records from any table or view using the calculations field, but the performance is slow i'd say. But to be able to do the same in table, would make a significant improvement to performance and functionality.

  8. Improving charts look & feel!

    Charts layout need a make up. Why not start using Chart.js (http://www.chartjs.org) or a newer look and feel?

    (Today you must Tab to cell first which is just an unneeded / extra step...and silly :) )

  10. Freeze column and header in pivot table

    It's pretty essential to have the ability to freeze headers and columns in pivot tables, just as they are in Excel. In larger tables data becomes unreadable without this.

  11. Tidy up sticky headers for a more professional look

    Currently, when scrolling down with sticky headers, records move above the header and the download and search options are lost. A much more professional look would be to prevent records above the header from being visible, and to have the download and search options displayed at all times. In effect, this would be like creating a fixed, opaque banner above the first record.

  12. Ratio Calculation in Pivot Tables

    Pivot Tables should have the ability to divide two aggregations rather than dividing each individual record and then using a SUM function, which gives the wrong result.

  13. Make User editable database triggers, to allow for more complex and interesting applications

    We currently have an application with a simple trigger built into it (when a User is approved, it generates a records of their Organization in a separate table from data captured at User creation, and connects the two records). But it was something a Caspio team created for us as part of a paid project, and it's not something we can access to innovate on or even troubleshoot on our own. I feel being able to customize triggers would allow for some much more powerful applications (that would be more user-friendly both for Caspio App developers, as well as for…

  14. Implement paginated responses for REST API requests

    Currently the max # of rows from a table via the REST API is limited to 1,000.

    Many REST APIs utilize pagination via page tokens or other methods and I think caspio could benefit from implementing this kind of feature.

    I've personally resorted to querying by autonumber and using multiple API calls, but a native solution would be cleaner / faster.

  15. Stacked bar chart

    I have built a system for resource management as best as I can within the standard options in Caspio bridge. What I really want to see is the option to use a stacked bar chart to display allocations for any unit with a start date and an end date. That means tahat the headings should be dynamic, and display day, week or month based on user selection. If only days are available, I can live with that.

  16. Date Rollup to include Rollup by DATE (charts & tables)

    Ideally what we would like to be able to do, and I can't imagine that we are the only ones, is to be able to just select an Any Date (Mon-Sun) Date Rollup instead of just Weekdays (M-F) (SNip.png). Additionally, when our filter is set up to show more than the last 7 days, it would do us no good to have the data from the similar DAYS summed. For example, if it were filtered to show time-stamps within the past 14 days, we would not want to just show 7 days on the X Axis (Monday-Sundayx1) as it is…

  18. Fix tabular datapages that use inline insert drop downs

    Tabular datapages that have inline insert sometimes have dropdown menus that use an ID value to identify the lookup record- and shows the 'display value' so it's clear to the user what they're selecting.

    The problem is in the recordset of the datapage below, that column will show the - normally hidden- id value and not the display value. This makes the datapages with inline insert look awful and unusable because it's confusing (the user doesn't know what the id numbers are for, they're expecting to see the display values).

  19. DataHub must work with OneDrive Business accounts.

    Currently Scheduled Tasks only support the Free version of OneDrive. It must be enhanced to support OneDrive for Business. https://dev.onedrive.com/app-registration.htm#register-your-app-for-onedrive-for-business

  20. Capability to copy part of the deploy code without the branding.

    When branding is removed on the account level, I should be able to copy the deploy code without the branding. Currently it's a repeating process of copy and paste then delete the branding Div every time I deploy a DataPage.
