  1. Improving charts look & feel!

    Charts layout need a make up. Why not start using Chart.js (http://www.chartjs.org) or a newer look and feel?

  3. Freeze column and header in pivot table

    It's pretty essential to have the ability to freeze headers and columns in pivot tables, just as they are in Excel. In larger tables data becomes unreadable without this.

  4. Tidy up sticky headers for a more professional look

    Currently, when scrolling down with sticky headers, records move above the header and the download and search options are lost. A much more professional look would be to prevent records above the header from being visible, and to have the download and search options displayed at all times. In effect, this would be like creating a fixed, opaque banner above the first record.

  5. Ratio Calculation in Pivot Tables

    Pivot Tables should have the ability to divide two aggregations rather than dividing each individual record and then using a SUM function, which gives the wrong result.

  6. Make User editable database triggers, to allow for more complex and interesting applications

    We currently have an application with a simple trigger built into it (when a User is approved, it generates a records of their Organization in a separate table from data captured at User creation, and connects the two records). But it was something a Caspio team created for us as part of a paid project, and it's not something we can access to innovate on or even troubleshoot on our own. I feel being able to customize triggers would allow for some much more powerful applications (that would be more user-friendly both for Caspio App developers, as well as for…

  7. Implement paginated responses for REST API requests

    Currently the max # of rows from a table via the REST API is limited to 1,000.

    Many REST APIs utilize pagination via page tokens or other methods and I think caspio could benefit from implementing this kind of feature.

    I've personally resorted to querying by autonumber and using multiple API calls, but a native solution would be cleaner / faster.

  8. Stacked bar chart

    I have built a system for resource management as best as I can within the standard options in Caspio bridge. What I really want to see is the option to use a stacked bar chart to display allocations for any unit with a start date and an end date. That means tahat the headings should be dynamic, and display day, week or month based on user selection. If only days are available, I can live with that.

  9. Date Rollup to include Rollup by DATE (charts & tables)

    Ideally what we would like to be able to do, and I can't imagine that we are the only ones, is to be able to just select an Any Date (Mon-Sun) Date Rollup instead of just Weekdays (M-F) (SNip.png). Additionally, when our filter is set up to show more than the last 7 days, it would do us no good to have the data from the similar DAYS summed. For example, if it were filtered to show time-stamps within the past 14 days, we would not want to just show 7 days on the X Axis (Monday-Sundayx1) as it is…

  11. Fix tabular datapages that use inline insert drop downs

    Tabular datapages that have inline insert sometimes have dropdown menus that use an ID value to identify the lookup record- and shows the 'display value' so it's clear to the user what they're selecting.

    The problem is in the recordset of the datapage below, that column will show the - normally hidden- id value and not the display value. This makes the datapages with inline insert look awful and unusable because it's confusing (the user doesn't know what the id numbers are for, they're expecting to see the display values).

  12. DataHub must work with OneDrive Business accounts.

    Currently Scheduled Tasks only support the Free version of OneDrive. It must be enhanced to support OneDrive for Business. https://dev.onedrive.com/app-registration.htm#register-your-app-for-onedrive-for-business

  13. Capability to copy part of the deploy code without the branding.

    When branding is removed on the account level, I should be able to copy the deploy code without the branding. Currently it's a repeating process of copy and paste then delete the branding Div every time I deploy a DataPage.

  15. Email Scheduler

    Would be great to have a datapage option that is an email scheduler...meaning the user would enter future emails into this datapage with a projected send date so the email will send automatically when that date/time comes up. This would enable the user to schedule reminder emails, task emails & other important emails that pull data from different tables and put it together for easy viewing. In a sense this would be an email generator datapage with date/time send capabilities. In my world of concerts, this would be very effective to remind bands, promoters, buyers and so on of things…

  16. Cannot Save Chart as Image

    Have datapages deployed as Graphs. Users want to export, print or merely save these graphs as images so that they can be used in other applications (such as including a graph in a presentation). However, when right-click the graph and save as image, the image is NOT exported. In fact, in IE an error is thrown. Only in Chrome can I get the Graph to print. It seems strange that simple Windows standard functionality is not supported. This is a poor implementation of this functionality for Graph DataPages within Caspio.   17. Allow users to be able to select the colors of their charts

    In the pie charts, it would be nice to be able to choose colors related to the values being charted. The colors Caspio chose aren't very pleasing and there is no way to change them apparently. I would like red, yellow, and green in my pie chart.

  18. create a feature for bulk enablement of "deployed" on data pages

    • sophisticated apps have a large number of pages and the manual process of "turning on" the deployment of each page can become mistake-prone, once you take into account that some pages may be "WIP" and you don't want to always expose all pages to the web yet....

  19. Give users the ability to customize UPDATE button text

    It would be great to be able to change the text of the button at the bottom of datapages to better reflect their use or intention. This would be especially helpful when the destination is another datapage or step in the process (for example, rather than having it say "UPDATE", it would be nice to be able to change it to "Select Date" when taking them to a different page to perform another action. Or, more simply, "REGISTER" or "SUBMIT" would also be commonly used by me.

    Button text can be customized to any text you prefer under the Localization object. Edit the Localization objects used in your DataPage and select Button under Forms/Details Pages categories. Under this section, you will be able to update the text of any button in the form.

  20. Time Out & Redirection - Please allow 8 hours of authentication ( a full work day ) before forcing new login

    Employees use (any system), but the authentication rules force them to login twice per day (unless you give them 12 or 24 hour access). It would seem to make sense to allow for a 8 hour authentication rule before forcing them to log back in, since most employees work an 8 hour day. - Unless there is some way to customize this that I am unaware of!
