  3. Loading GIF for 60+ seconds long Bulk Edits

    Bulk Edits are a great feature, but when Updating on a View, the process can take nearly a minute in my use case. I think a loading GIF on button press-Update-in Bulk Edit would help the user understand that the Update is processing.

    Until then, I am posting a message in the Bulk Edit form that states "Updates can take up to a minute to process."

  5. Add ability to disable/display field of the record on Grid Edit form based on rule

    We can set rule in submission form for single record edit.
    We would like to edit the record in Grid Edit form, but to disable the field entry if certain criteria is met.

  6. Add an async form processing option that allows a background datapage (or chain) and parameter cascade to act like a trigger

    Right now, the system has what I would call "Foreground Datapages" - they are sequentially accessed in full view of the client.

    I'd like to see the addition of "Background Datapages" - these are asynchronous pages that must start with a Foreground Datapage as a destination, can chain to however many background datapages one wishes to chain, and then returns a Foreground Datapage destination with parameters to navigate to.

  7. HTML editor in email-links

    Can u make an html editor in the email created from email links?
    Same with automatic emails.
    Would be nice to send better looking emails including photos etc from the database.

  9. Deny specific words to fields

    People are sometimes submitting our forms by giving Donald Duck as their name field value. I think it would it be a good idea to be able pre-moderate some of these most common "false for sure" values.

    I have tried to solve this with rules but fields that I need to control are required. It seems like I can't disable users to execute their form in anyway.

  10. System timestamp should follow Rules

    When a field is set to receive a system parameter of timestamp
    and
    a Rule is created to disable the timestamp field if it is not empty
    then
    the "disabled" field should not get a new timestamp when the record is updated

    Currently, if a field is set to get a timestamp, there is no way to use a Rule to create a condition for this behavior: the field will always get timestamped.

    I want to let people update records and timestamp them, but if they update a record twice, I want to hold on to the original timestamp instead…

    I have a datapage that uploads images and another that displays them. My customer loves it. They now wish to download images. It would be a great improvement for them if they could download images.

    It could be great to insert the DP and APP names as comment with the deployed code.
    So we always know what script represents, instead of having to do it manually

  13. Conditional Redirect Based on the existence or non-existence of a required parameter.

    "I'd like to request the ability to have a user redirected to a page (URL/Datapage/Etc) if a datapage that requires a parameter noticed that parameter has not been received for any reason.

    For example, our users upon login are directed to a page where they select from a dropwon project they are working on. The project that is selected passes a ProjectID parameter that is required in many other datapages in our system. This is so that the user does not have to repeatedly select the project on each datapage after. This parameter is currently stored in the browser…

  14. Create a JSON datapage report type

    I'd like to see a datatable report that outputs a script tag with the recordset returned as a string named for the DP and the value being the recordset returned as a JSON object.

    When you get to the Details page, you can enable this feature - Navigate to next/previous records. It would be useful it this was available on the Update data page.

  16. Bulk Edit Disable selections until checked by user

    Bulk Edit is completely confusing to the user if there are several options, as to exactly what they’re updating. Bulk Edit form should have all edit options dis-abled until one of the check boxes on the left are checked- thereby making the edit option enabled- so the user knows exactly what is ‘active’ and updating. My users get totally confused by having to choose from a drop down and then go check a box that may or may not be relevant, and it seems like other edit options may be happening (because they're not disabled- just being 'unchecked' isn't clear…

  18. In Logic tab there should be dynamic comparison at right hand site

    In Search and Report wizard or in creating views at right hand site there is option of putting values which happens to be fixed. But like other database there should be option of selecting value dynamically either by query from tables or by variables as right hand side value for comparison. Also there should be option for "in" or similar operator to match all or any value from the list

  19. Hide doublets, by selecting fields in wiews or datapages would be nice.

    If i want to find some unique fields in a table or a wiew I have to export
    to excel, take away doublets and import again.

  20. "Limit to List" Option similar to Access

    When typing a table/lookup view to a field, there is no way to force the user to ONLY select the options listed. In Access, this was really easy, you attached the "lookup table", and on the form page select limit to list. This forced the user to only to pick from the list available to them. This helps maintain data integerity. We get you can accomplish this in a dropdown, but need it in all other options, "autocomplete", "Cascading autocomplete". The reason we do not like the dropdown is you lose the contain feature, but by gaining the contain feature…
