Caspio must support "group by" and Calculations in views, not only in datapages.
This option will allow us to create views that groups the records of a big table based on some distinct criteria. Also it is necessary to make simple calculations such us sum, or count in our tables without the need of datapages.

CASPIO THIS HAS BEEN REQUESTED SINCE 2012!!!
WE NEED TO CREATED READ ONLY VIEWS USING YOUR SQL BLOCK EDITOR (SAME EDITOR USED TO CREATE TASKS AND TRIGGERS).
SPEND LESS TIME ON AI AND MORE TIME ON YOUR CORE PRODUCT.

This is an absolute MUST HAVE feature. Please make it happen. MS ACCESS has it...Caspio should too.

Group By and consequently sums and counts in Views, I deem as a crucial part of a database.
Often you don't want to show the detail in reports (as the detail information should be restricted to a few users), but on overview of data can be shown yo all. -

Grouping is imported for views to get a unique data set, for example to be used as a dropdown lookup source in a report datapage, so only those items can be searched which will retrieve results as they exist in the underlying table.

Combine this and "Ability to have calculated fields on a view." and we have one of the top requests!

Either this or just give us custom SQL in views, it would make such a huge difference

agree strongly, otherwise we are not able to fully utilize this powerful data base for more complex query features.

Yes, I would really like to be able to make a view from a combination of views and tables as well. This would as a lot of capability to the program.

Yes, I agree with this feature. Furthemore, I should vote for the possibility to create views not only from tables but from views as well.

I certainly agree with having the option to use calculations in views. I have some datapages with great working calculations, but I can't automate the extractions with calculations in which is a real shame.
