Destination after record update/insert - Generate PDF Template
Currently, to make use of the Templates feature to generate PDFs from your datasource values, you need to include a Generate PDF link on a datapage. The user will click on this link to generate a PDF using the linked Template.
It would be nice if we could choose to Generate PDF after the user clicks Update/Submit. If it was included in the Destination Options - 'Destination after record update/insert', we could make it so after the user updates the data and clicks Update, the PDF is automatically generated and downloaded.
If included in a Details Datapage, for instance, the user will have to update the values, then click Update, which in turn refreshes the page. Then the user needs to scroll again to find the Generate PDF link. It is a little cumbersome.
