Fix tabular datapages that use inline insert drop downs
Tabular datapages that have inline insert sometimes have dropdown menus that use an ID value to identify the lookup record- and shows the 'display value' so it's clear to the user what they're selecting.
The problem is in the recordset of the datapage below, that column will show the - normally hidden- id value and not the display value. This makes the datapages with inline insert look awful and unusable because it's confusing (the user doesn't know what the id numbers are for, they're expecting to see the display values).
This isn't an issue when in Edit mode or in a details view. It's a glaring problem that should be easily addressed. I'm really surprised it's been this long and is still there. I've wasted many hours trying to do a workaround and have datapages that don't look as clean as they should.
This feature is now available. Lookup field can now display user-friendly value instead of ID in reports.

I really hope Caspio can get to this soon. I have to made separate Submission data pages and then deploy them in the header of the tabular datapage- just to enable insert without that confusing id column. This adds load time to the page and looks really terrible. Do you have any idea when this fix will be released? Thanks-
