  1. barcode generator

    I think it will be a great idea if we can generate barcode,QR code, and RFID code generator to the table by combining desired fields by using formula. This feature can generate new customers like manufactures, who uses this feature for inventory control database just by scanning the said barcode,QR code and RFID code to the database created using caspio.

  2. Add update function to Zapier API

    Currently can use a Zap to add a record. Would be nice to be able to update existing records with a return code of success or failure. Other functions like GET to query data before update is nice but not absolutely necessary.

  3. onedrive. Dropbox, Box, Gdrive and other cloud services

    You should provide integration with Onedrive, Drop, Dropbox.

    At least the top cloud storage services, so, instead of uploading a file to your server on tables, we could load to our cloud server account and Caspio only stores the link instead of the file.

    I believe storing multimedia files Iaudio, photo, video, documents) is not Caspio main business, but database service and storage, so it would add many possibilities to store and publish multimedia data on websites.

    I've been doing some research on the main website builder services and none of them offer the possibility to create dynamic multimedia lists.…

    While it is not the consumer cloud drive, I think it achieve what you are referring to in an elegant way.

    Thank you for the idea. If I understand your suggestion correctly, you would like to leave media files or other files on your cloud drive but still use them as if they were loaded into your tables.

    This is currently possible. All you need to do is to enter the URL of your file asset, regardless of where it is, into text field and in your apps render the text field as Display Only and sub option of URL, etc. You can also embed your such entries into any HTML block.

  4. "Public key" auth method for SFTP connections

    Enable the public key auth method for SFTP connection.
    Right now Caspio is only authenticating with Username/password

  5. DataHub must work with OneDrive Business accounts.

    Currently Scheduled Tasks only support the Free version of OneDrive. It must be enhanced to support OneDrive for Business. https://dev.onedrive.com/app-registration.htm#register-your-app-for-onedrive-for-business

  6. Cannot Save Chart as Image

    Have datapages deployed as Graphs. Users want to export, print or merely save these graphs as images so that they can be used in other applications (such as including a graph in a presentation). However, when right-click the graph and save as image, the image is NOT exported. In fact, in IE an error is thrown. Only in Chrome can I get the Graph to print. It seems strange that simple Windows standard functionality is not supported. This is a poor implementation of this functionality for Graph DataPages within Caspio. I have actually opened a Help Ticket for this, but…

  9. Render Datapages as PDF

    Caspio needs to include a PDF output option to bring it up to spped with other applications in this area.

    As an Destination option, Caspio should provide a flag that allows a Datapage to display in PDF.
    This can be applied with a simple html to pdf conversion tool.

    Example.
    Create a HTML Datapage which receives parameters and styled as a document.
    Choose this data page as the destination page (Tick for PDF) and the page/pdf should Open/Display as pdf when called by the browser.

  10. Make the chart function more like Excel

    The chart functionality could be very powerful, but as it stands it's very limiting. Below are some things that would vastly improve it:

    Stacked bar charts
    Multiple Axes
    Multiple series types (mixed bar/line)
    Cumulative charts
    Pareto charts
    More than 5 data series

  12. Freeze first column in a table

    I'd like to be able to "freeze" the first column in a table, so that as I scroll across the table, I can always see the first column (which indicates the name of the record).

    Sometimes we have a lot of editing to do, and it's easiest to do it in the table. And sometimes, we want to copy the same info into a field for several records. But since we can't see the "Names" of the records (that are in the first column) as we scroll across, we can't accurately past info into the fields. If we could freeze…

  14. Allow a combination of fields to be a composite key

    In some cases we want a combination of values to be unique. A sample scenario is to ensure that there is only one record per facility per year. This can be achieved if the combination of facility and year are designated as key and hence they have to be unique. This is a valid RDBMS concept and it will be great if Caspio implements it.

  17. Automatic emails with no update/insert/delete required based on date fields and timestamps.

    We would love to have a way for Capsio applications to send automatic emails sent out based dates and timestamps, that don't involve a table update/insert/delete. For instance, in a ticket system, you have a due date that a task/project must be completed by, and most ticket systems will email you when you are getting close to your ticket due date, and also email management when your due date has passed.

  19. Download more than 1000 rows via the REST API

    Please add a way to download more than 1000 rows via the REST API. Multiple calls are fine if there is something like "get next 1000 rows", etc.. If the 1000 row limit is a security feature, perhaps make it configurable, so that each customer can decide if the limit suits their use case and disable the limitation in their specific account.

  20. TRIGGERS ARE AWESOME, BUT NEED

    TRIGGERS ARE AWESOME, BUT WE NEED TO HAVE SOME OF THEM AUTOMATIC AND NOT FORCED. EXAMPLE: IF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DATE ENTERED AND TODAY'S DATE IS 30 DAYS, IT AUTOMATICALLY MOVES RECORDS FROM ON TABLE TO THE NEXT.

    ALSO, THE NEW TRIGGERS NEED THE OPTION TO BE ABLE TO SEND THE NOTIFICATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT EMAILS OUT JUST AS YOU CAN WHEN YOU USE THE DATAPAGES.

    I HOPE YOU CAN IMPLEMENT THIS REQUESTS SOON, BECAUSE DOING THINGS MANUALLY IS GETTING OLD.
