Ability to Update Fillable PDF Template
Currently, when you upload a fillable template and map it in the Table, there is no chance for the user to update that template.
It would be a time saver if you can upload a new/modified template and update the existing one, without remapping all the fields again.
6 votesThank you for your valuable input. We're pleased to inform you that the capability to modify existing template files is now a part of our document generation feature. For more information on leveraging this functionality, please consult our how-to article for instructions.

Please make it possible to use a View as the data source for mapping to a fillable PDF in addition to being able to use a Table
It would be helpful to be able to use data from more than one table on a form. For example, I am creating a certificate of completion. I need to pull the name of the individual from one table and the name and date of the course from another table.

Add "Download PDF" option for the details page as an option in the results page.
Currently, users need to open the datapage, then click the download pdf button. This becomes cumbersome when the user needs to access the details page, fill in the form and update, then re-access the details page to download a pdf. It would be helpful if we could link the Download PDF feature as a column option in the results page along with Edit/Delete/View Details
4 votesThank you for your idea. With Document Generation feature, you can generate a PDF for a record in a report based on a predefined template. Learn more at Document Generation - Caspio Online Help

Custom Title export for CSV / XML data
This should be a pretty simple one. The CSV/XML/PDF export should have some way to title it. For Instance [@client] [@project] - Foo_[date]
or something to that idea, but utilize the fields which are available in the fields or data sources available

Option to use a Value from Calculated Value in another Calculated Value field
Sometimes you need to use a value obtained from a Calculated Value field in another one. But actually when you define a field as a "Calculated Value", you can't use it in the "Calculated Value" field.

Enable GZIP compression for datapages to speed up deployment and loading.
Anytime there are multiple datapages on one webpage it slows the site down a lot.

Improving charts look & feel!
Charts layout need a make up. Why not start using Chart.js (http://www.chartjs.org) or a newer look and feel?
4 votesThank you again for this idea. We made major improvements for Chart DataPages in recent 9.5 Release. More information can be found at http://howto.caspio.com/datapages/charts/

Grid Edit
GRID EDIT - Allow Enter key to position to cell below
(Today you must Tab to cell first which is just an unneeded / extra step...and silly :) )
NOTE: In Table edit mode, we can press enter to get to the next cell below

Make User editable database triggers, to allow for more complex and interesting applications
We currently have an application with a simple trigger built into it (when a User is approved, it generates a records of their Organization in a separate table from data captured at User creation, and connects the two records). But it was something a Caspio team created for us as part of a paid project, and it's not something we can access to innovate on or even troubleshoot on our own. I feel being able to customize triggers would allow for some much more powerful applications (that would be more user-friendly both for Caspio App developers, as well as for…

Stacked bar chart
I have built a system for resource management as best as I can within the standard options in Caspio bridge. What I really want to see is the option to use a stacked bar chart to display allocations for any unit with a start date and an end date. That means tahat the headings should be dynamic, and display day, week or month based on user selection. If only days are available, I can live with that.

Date Rollup to include Rollup by DATE (charts & tables)
Ideally what we would like to be able to do, and I can't imagine that we are the only ones, is to be able to just select an Any Date (Mon-Sun) Date Rollup instead of just Weekdays (M-F) (SNip.png). Additionally, when our filter is set up to show more than the last 7 days, it would do us no good to have the data from the similar DAYS summed. For example, if it were filtered to show time-stamps within the past 14 days, we would not want to just show 7 days on the X Axis (Monday-Sundayx1) as it is…
6 votesDATE and other new options in Date Rollup are now available in Caspio Bridge 12.0. Thank you again for your idea

Fix tabular datapages that use inline insert drop downs
Tabular datapages that have inline insert sometimes have dropdown menus that use an ID value to identify the lookup record- and shows the 'display value' so it's clear to the user what they're selecting.
The problem is in the recordset of the datapage below, that column will show the - normally hidden- id value and not the display value. This makes the datapages with inline insert look awful and unusable because it's confusing (the user doesn't know what the id numbers are for, they're expecting to see the display values).
This isn't an issue when in Edit mode or in…
5 votesThis feature is now available. Lookup field can now display user-friendly value instead of ID in reports.

Email Scheduler
Would be great to have a datapage option that is an email scheduler...meaning the user would enter future emails into this datapage with a projected send date so the email will send automatically when that date/time comes up. This would enable the user to schedule reminder emails, task emails & other important emails that pull data from different tables and put it together for easy viewing. In a sense this would be an email generator datapage with date/time send capabilities. In my world of concerts, this would be very effective to remind bands, promoters, buyers and so on of things…
7 votesWith Tasks feature, you can set up reminder emails and more. More information can be found at https://howto.caspio.com/tasks/

Cannot Save Chart as Image
Have datapages deployed as Graphs. Users want to export, print or merely save these graphs as images so that they can be used in other applications (such as including a graph in a presentation). However, when right-click the graph and save as image, the image is NOT exported. In fact, in IE an error is thrown. Only in Chrome can I get the Graph to print. It seems strange that simple Windows standard functionality is not supported. This is a poor implementation of this functionality for Graph DataPages within Caspio. I have actually opened a Help Ticket for this, but…

create a feature for bulk enablement of "deployed" on data pages
- sophisticated apps have a large number of pages and the manual process of "turning on" the deployment of each page can become mistake-prone, once you take into account that some pages may be "WIP" and you don't want to always expose all pages to the web yet....
4 votesThank you for your feedback. The feature is now available in recent 9.8 Release.
