  1. See All Connections To Specific Table Field

    Currently, the only way to view all connections related to a certain FIELD in a table is to click on DELETE for that field in the Table Design and view the Connections popup.

    This seems like a horrible place to view this, being only 1 misclick away from ruining your database.

    I am looking for a way to view all connections to a field (not an entire table) without having to go through the delete process.

    Maybe more of a tutorial even... But the option in a drop-down to add a new value (which can be triggered to add to the lookup table or custom values)

    Let the developer choose the time instead of 15 minute intervals.
    It should be at least in 5 minutes intervals or completely free choice

  4. make the autocomplete and dropdown fully interchangeable fields

    Imagine a dropdown list with 2500 items. Finding proper value is challenging. The Autocomplete field is the best fit for this use case, but it does not currently work when the field is a foreign key.

    The dropdown list has "field for display" and "field for value". However, autocomplete lacks the "field for display" parameter. So, currently, on the initial load of the data page, it shows the "field for value" (the ID field, in my case, not the value that users should see).

    It would be great to add "field for display" and make autocomplete and dropdown fully interchangeable.

  5. Conditional Dropdown; 2+ sources for dropdown list

    It would be nice if we could have conditional dropdowns (not cascading) that will change the datasource/value list depending on the value of a Parent element.

    In example, if the Parent value was A, then the dropdown would list Group A values. Likewise, if the Parent value was B, then that same dropdown would now show Group B values.

  7. SMS enhancement (1) Make SMS credits App based

    Can we make SMS purchasing App based? In that way each app can use its own credit.

    This is because each app could have it's owner (client) for whom it was built, so buying SMS credit should be split per app so that each app or client can use its own credits and not share.

  9. Allow for a way to tag/label records based on import file/data source.

    For example, I have multiple files importing data into a single table. Since the files come from different sources I would like to identify which records came from which data source. I would like to be able to do this from Caspio instead of requiring the owners of each data source to include an additional field in their file.

    Improved searching
    When a user is searching for a word within a text field, any word with those characters in order is returned.

    For example, looking for all references to the word ear, results with "tear" and "earth" are returned, resulting in excess results.

    it would be helpful if quotation marks or adding space(s) would help reduce excess results.

  12. Hit highlighting in text search results.

    Term highlighting in text search results can make a huge difference in how people interpret and gain value from text searches. The highlights ground the searcher in the terms and their contexts. Without highlights, it is easy to feel lost and unmoored when interpreting results.

  15. Cross-Site Tracking

    I will make a post about this every day until it is fixed. This problem has been going on for 3 years and we as customers are sick of it.

    Apple (iPhone or Mac) users cannot use authenticated Datapages, unless they choose to change a default setting in their phone.

    Absolutely unacceptable and Caspio has been trying to hide and forget about this issue for 3 years. Not going to let it happen anymore.

  17. Update the Edit Style page

    Trying to edit a Style from the Style tab is horrendous. When editing a Datapage Element, the middle section of the screen is 80% unused whitespace. The section where you select the Element Type is in a scrollable list that shows 3 options out of the 20+ available.

    Anyone that has messed with Styles will understand. This thing is so cumbersome that I need to use the plain-text source page, which isn't even a code editor, just a notepad!

  19. Prevent a hide field rule from actually omitting the default data it contains from table

    Never suspected a conditional rule to Hide Field actually meant omit data from the table. I have a lot of radio buttons with a default "No" value. However, some of those field can be hidden based on another condition rule. But just because the DP field is hidden from view in the form, I still want that default No value for it to appear in data table. Instead I get blanks for any hidden field with a default value set. They should rename Hide field to Hide field/Omit Data. I see a couple other posts with the same concern/issue. And…

  20. Tabular Report Inline Insert without making all fields editable

    At the moment, when trying to include Inline Add on the Results Page of a Tabular Report, if the fields in the report are not 'editable', you cannot enter in a value for that field in Inline Add.

    It would be nice to be able to have access to all fields in Inline Add, but limit what fields can be edited for existing records Inline Edit.
